We believe that wearing uniform helps to create a sense of identity and community in school. Our uniform is smart, practical, comfortable and inclusive and we expect pupils to wear it with pride when at school, on journeys between home and school, and especially when representing the school on visits and fixtures. Pupils who do not meet our expectations about uniform will usually receive a sanction.
Our MVC Uniform guidance is on the left hand side of the page.
Please note that school-branded items should be purchased from our school supplier Schoolyard of Royston. Please visit the Melbourn Village College section of their website to see more information and prices. Non-branded uniform items can either be purchased through our uniform suppliers or from a high street shop or supermarket. Please do look at the guidelines for the type of non-braded items that are accepted as part of our uniform strategy.

Families who find it difficult to afford school uniform at any time should contact their child’s form tutor or pastoral team, in complete confidence, so that a way forward can be found.
Our PE Kit is designed to be comfortable and practical when playing a variety of sports and representing Melbourn Village College with pride when representing the school. Pupils who do not meet our expectations about PE kit will be challenged and sanctioned accordingly and asked to change into the correct PE kit.
