Last week our Key Stage Four students had an inspiring session with motivational speaker Kevin Hayes from Constant Change in South London.
Kevin has been helping people with personal development since 1990 across corporate, academic, and healthcare settings. With training in Psychotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, plus over 30 years as a professional magician, actor, and singer, Kevin combines his skills to relax and open minds — the perfect recipe for learning!
During the workshop, Kevin spoke about the importance of self-testing and using both sides of the brain to process information. He challenged pupils to create “brain dumps” (mind maps) and even wowed them with a magic trick along the way.
In the evening, Kevin met with parents to share revision techniques and highlight how vital their involvement is — even if school feels like a distant memory! A big thank you to all the parents who joined us.
One of our pupils, Zacky, summed it up perfectly:
“I really enjoyed working with Kevin, he simplified how we should revise and made it fun.”
We’re grateful to Kevin for bringing energy, wisdom, and a touch of magic to our school community!
